Children

• Elementry School Tutoring Program : students  meet weekly with tutors to make homework, Preparing  for exams and getting extra help .
• English Tutoring Program : Elementary to High school students meet weekly with English speakers on a one on one basis .
• Drama – A weekly Drama program for 8-12 years old children. The program gives drama skills and also exposes children to Israeli and world plays.

• Open Horizon program –  One of Yotzer Or’s main goals is to avoid the replication of poverty in the second generation. Open Horizon was conceived to help middle school and high school students pass their matriculation (“bagrut”) exams successfully in order to open doors later in life.

The six-year program, operated in conjunction with The Hebrew University and an academic army unit that helps us with the tutoring program, offers tutors and a teacher who work very closely with students to help them and their families pave their way to success.

Adults

• Ulpan – A weekly Hebrew Course for adults . A  Two Hours meeting that takes place every Monday night one on one led by Hebrew Teachers and Volunteers.  Each adult has its own studying plan that meets his needs, in that way we  are enabled to touch the real needs of each adult. The students are from Ethiopia & Russia.

• English Ulpan for adults – One on one English learning for adults who want to learn and be able to
• add the English language as one of the advantages when applying for work.
• Parashat Shavua – A weekly lesson for  adults  which  deal  with the Parasha from  the family perspective.

·         Womens Circle – A Women’s group that deals with personal and communal matter of the participants in a intimate and familiar atmosphere. The Women’s group  gives the Yotzer Or women the opportunity to open up , share and get empowered

• employment upgrading -A joint program in cooperation with Yadid organization that will help Yotzer Or adults in a year process to upgrade employment to open opportunities in life.
• Drawing & painting  Adults group- A adults group that gathers weekly to paint and express artistic skills.
