We are starting a Chai(18) + Chai(18) meaning Life + Life campaign to bring your life to our life. Support our efforts by making a small contribution of only $36. This amount will make a difference in the lives of the underserved in our community.
We, Yotzer Or, will be celebrating our 7th Anniversary! We have accomplished so much since our beginning seven years ago. Let me highlight just a few of those things.
Yotzer Or families come from a variety of different backgrounds; Ethiopian, Russian as well as native Israelis. We are building a better future together. We support a number of weekly programs that empower our congregants in their lives. These programs include drama, arts, woman’s circle, Hebrew, tutoring programs, youth group, story hour and much, much more. We are building our community one brick, one family, one person at a time.
Our families are a large part of the decision process along with the professional staff that steers our programming and congregational model. This partnership helps in supporting the many challenges of Israeli society.
We are honored and thrilled to be working with the following partners; the Meyerhof Youth Science Department of Hebrew University and the Hapoel Katamon Soccer team. We are also teaming up with the Jerusalem municipality and working with two kindergartens in the neighborhood and sharing themes of social justice.
Today, more than ever we need your support to be able to move forward in our mission. A small contribution makes a BIG difference!
